Celos - The Divine Flame, Elemental Fury, Hellfire

Celos was unique amongst the Ascendants in that he and his clan were the only K'Tri to have the ability to use magic. Indeed, Celos' ability with arcane fire was such that it remains spoken with reverence even 10,000 years later.

Celos was also noteworthy for his appearance. All male Celosions possess the beautiful crowning antlers unique to their clan, as well as the cloven feet. However upon his Ascension, Celos' body was marked by the gods with their favor, branding ancient runes and script into his skin. These runes allowed Celos to harness a small power of the gods themselves, furthering cementing Celos as a paragon of magical ability, one even the elves hold with grudging respect.

When it comes to achievements and personality, Celos is noteworthy for his arrogance, as founded as it may have been. He believed, rightfully so, that he was blessed by the gods themselves, and behaved as such. He wiped out entire armies with the swipe of his hand, commanding the very earth to swallow his foes, or fire to reign down from the sky, burning his enemies, and sometimes allies, to ash.

The gods did not view Celos' actions favorably, and bound his magic to him after the war with the Andulans. Great power would never again be his to control, until he learned a level of humilty, and acted for the good of others.

After the binding, Celos wandered Clydira, using what little magic he could tap to disguise his infamous appearance, until his whereabouts faded into myth.

Such a cool design! I like the antlers and the little details like the gemstones in the outfits. The linework is fabulous as always and the elemental swirls are a nice touch.
