I get asked a lot for tips and such for aspiring artists. Which makes me laugh, because i still consider myself one of the fold, lol. ANYWAY, my first response is always to never "settle" with your art. If you're not happy, do what you need to do, learn what you need to learn, to fix it.
So i don't sound like a hypocrite, I figured i'd show my own concept in action. On the left, a piece i did almost 2 years ago exactly, and i remember being pretty satisfied with it. Now, i look at it and go "ew". You recognize the one on the right. 2 years from now, i fully expect me to look at the newest, and go WTF was i thinking? Always be ready and willing to learn folks. It's a lot of work, but it pays off.
