Okay, so I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I still have photoshop 7, and i do believe it's time for an upgrade, hehe. I've been using painter 10 extensively lately, and while i do like the program, i still prefer photoshop... there's just too many quirks to painter to really get me to become a convert (such as when you preserve transparency on a layer, and you go to paint on it, the smudges white all the way through the damned area you're coloring in if you hit an outside edge, argh. I do love the blending tools however, and the ease of doing conceptual stuff in it. Granted, lots of things might've changed with photoshop considering how old my version is.
I've been scoping out CS4 currently, simply because i'm running on a 64bit Vista system which i maxxed out the RAM and video card and whatnot in. I'm just wondering if any of you guys have had a chance to play with this or not, and if so, what your take on it is.
Thanks for any input
